JSWAY | Leading CNC Lathe Manufacturer Since 2007
To further enhance employees' fire safety awareness and improve emergency self-rescue and fire prevention capabilities, JSWAY CNC COMPANY organized its annual fire emergency drill on the afternoon of January 10th. Employees from all departments actively participated. Through practical drills and professional training, they collectively strengthened the company's safety "firewall."
High Priority and Meticulous Planning
This drill was planned and coordinated by the company's Safety Management Leadership Team, which developed a detailed fire evacuation drill plan. A dedicated briefing was held prior to the drill to clarify the roles and responsibilities of each emergency response team, ensuring a safe and orderly process.
Practical Drill and Orderly Evacuation
At 15:30 in the afternoon, the drill commenced with the sounding of the fire alarm. Guided by evacuation marshals, employees in all areas promptly covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, assumed a low, crouching posture, and evacuated in an orderly fashion to the designated safe assembly area via pre-established routes.
The entire evacuation process was executed efficiently and calmly. All departments conducted quick and accurate headcounts, meeting the requirement for an evacuation that was "fast, quiet, and orderly."
Skill Training and Hands-on Practice
Following the evacuation drill, the company's safety officer conducted on-site training on the correct use of firefighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers and hydrants. The key operational steps—"Lift, Pull, Aim, Squeeze"—were clearly explained and emphasized.
Employees from various departments then took turns practicing fire extinguishing techniques. Under the guidance of experienced colleagues, new hires quickly grasped the skills needed to combat incipient stage fires.
Professional Guidance for Enhanced Effectiveness
For this event, an instructor from the Banfu Fire Brigade was specially invited to provide on-site guidance. Tailoring the session to an industrial setting, the instructor covered key points for fire prevention in production workshops, safe operation standards for electrical equipment, and other professional knowledge. A demonstration of rapid fire hose connection techniques was also performed.
Summary and Continuous Improvement for Lasting Safety
In a concluding address after the drill, the company's General Manager emphasized: "Safety in production is the lifeline of our company's development. Every employee is primarily responsible for safety. We hope that through regular emergency drills, safety awareness becomes ingrained in our mindset and reflected in our actions."
This fire drill not only tested the feasibility and effectiveness of the company's emergency plan but also significantly improved employees' responsiveness and coordination during emergencies. JSWAY CNC COMPANY remains committed to continuously strengthening safety management, fostering a safe and stable working environment for all employees, and safeguarding the company's high-quality development.
