Guangdong JSWAY CNC Machine Tool Co., Ltd. since 2004.
1. Processing principle
CNC Lathe: A machine tool that uses a digital control system to perform cutting and machining on a rotating workpiece. The workpiece is fixed on the chuck for rotation, and the cutting tool moves linearly along the radial and axial directions of the workpiece to remove excess material and achieve the required size and shape as designed.
Swiss CNC lathe: It rotates under the drive of the spindle, while the tool system moves along the axial and radial directions of the workpiece for machining. A Swiss CNC lathe is usually equipped with multiple cutting tools, which can complete various machining processes such as turning, drilling, milling, tapping, etc. in one clamping, without the need to re clamp the workpiece between processes.
2. Structural characteristics
CNC lathe: generally composed of bed body, spindle box, tool holder, feed system, cooling system, and CNC system. Its structure is relatively simple, and the bed is usually placed horizontally. The tool holder is installed on the bed and can move horizontally (X-axis) and vertically (Z-axis).
Swiss CNC lathe: It has a basic bed, spindle, and tool system, as well as auxiliary spindle, guide sleeve device, etc. Its cutting tools are arranged around the workpiece and have multiple axial directions of motion. Its main and auxiliary spindles can achieve synchronous motion, which gives the walking machine an advantage in machining long axis parts.
3. Scope of application
CNC lathe: suitable for rotating parts with simple shapes, such as shafts, disks, sleeves, etc. It is more suitable for machining parts with larger dimensions and lower precision requirements, such as half shafts in automobiles and transmission shafts in ordinary machinery.
Swiss CNC lathe: mainly used for processing small, slender precision parts, especially widely used in precision instruments, medical equipment, electronic devices and other fields. For example, high-precision parts in measuring instruments, analytical instruments, precision needle tubes in medical devices, etc.
